Ryan Lochte

Ryan Steven Lochte, one of the best swimmers, USA has ever produced and also known as Reezy was born on August 3, 1984 in Rochester, New York to Ileana and Steven R. Lochte. He has four siblings, two older sisters and two younger brothers. He was introduced to swimming by his parents and his father was a swimming coach but Ryan never took swimming seriously till he became a junior in high school. The big push came when he lost in junior Olympics and that loss made him determined to never loss again. This loss pushed him to train very hard and never loss in any swimming championship and it’s true if one go through his commendable record.
Ryan started setting records when he reached college. He won NCAA swimmer of the year two times, became NCAA champion seven times, became SEC champion seven champion, and became All-American a mind blowing twenty-four times. Isn’t that great? The list is still incomplete. He broke the great swimmer, Tom Dolan’s nearly a decade old record in 400 yard individual medley. He has got a whopping fifty gold medals. Twenty one silver medals and fourteen medals in various international swimming competitions. He has got five gold, three silver and three bronze medals in various events in various Olympics in his kitty. He has got a mind blowing seventy seven medals in international event out of which, 49 are gold, 17 are silver and rest 11 are bronze. Wow, what an amazing swimmer.
