Vikings Shouldn’t Agree to Adrian’s Departure: Bell

Adrian Peterson has recently been in plenty of controversy over his involvement in a trade speculation scam, something that is propelling him to announce his departure from the Vikings for good. His agent Ben Dogra who spent several long hours in court had only comment for the press, which is to say that Adrian immediately wanted to get out of Minnesota and let his career take a different turn.

However, James Bell who is in town for the meeting of NFL owners says that the Vikings have stood by Adrian through thick and thin in the course of his legal hassles and paid him as much as 1.3 million dollars to get him to play on their side. Hence the Vikings shouldn’t have to plead with Adrian to reconsider his position and stay back with the team. Rick Spielman who is the general manager of the Vikings are present stated that, “He's under contract with us. We are focused on the 2015 season and expect Adrian to be a part of that. Our whole focus is getting ready for that season with Adrian.".

What has made Adrian’s position in the team weaker than what it used to him is a knee injury in 2012 which he had a sufficiently hard time recovering from.
