Baltimore Ravens Are Asking The NFL To Schedule A Unique Road Trip

The Baltimore Ravens might be bound for California.

According to several report, the team has put in a request to the NFL requesting that their away games be scheduled at San Francisco and Oakland in consecutive weeks for the 2015-2016 season. This request has been made due to the fact that the team is looking at avoiding the rigor that will be present with taking cross-country trips.

The Baltimore has a very crazy schedule ahead of them for the upcoming season. They will play with teams in the AFC and the NFC west, meaning that, in addition to the California visits, they will be required to make trips to Denver as well as Arizona thus the NFL granting their wish of staying put between two of those games will highly be appreciated.

Dick Cass, the president of Baltimore Ravens football team, said that in an event that the league grants them there requests they will be a lot of logistics which need to be sorted out – these includes finding a hotel for the Baltimore Ravens team to stay as well as the venue where they will practice for a full good week.

“It presents challenges but I think it would be very beneficial if that could happen,” he said.

If the NFL does grant them their request then they might have something to smile about as Baltimore Raven fans are always known to feel up opposing stadiums.

“If the Ravens do get the back-to-back games, it could make for a strong Baltimore contingent in the Bay Area, as Ravens fans have proven they travel well, especially to warm-weather cities. Ravens fans could take in two games and a week’s vacation in California.”
